Rain over there

Abstract painting process: the making of “Rain over there,” a 48 x 75 inch acrylic on canvas, painted in my studio in Colorado in 2025. Watch a large abstract painting come together from start to finish: mixing acrylic paint, blocking in color, building the composition layer by layer, stepping back to look, and making the final marks. This is a real-time look at how I work on a large canvas, with my thoughts along the way, for anyone interested in abstract art, acrylic painting techniques, or what happens in a working artist’s studio.
