A weird buff with those turrets. Not really that threatening, it's just sometimes cuts off your escape route occasionally.
1:09 Archpriestess Kiryne
Once you got the hang of this boss, it should be less of a pain it supposed to be. The only threat I found is the pink ball, can be a mess to deal with. Try to stay away from the pink ball, because the closer you are, the faster the pink ball can explode in the designated area, especially if that pink ball gets bigger. Thankfully the bigger the pink ball is, the slower its travel time, so you can abuse that by staying further away. Not too difficult, just a bit gimmicky.
3:45 General Cragg
Honestly whoever at the dev team that nerfed this boss from the original DQ, they actually made it w.
The straight line attack is no longer too random and aggressive, the lava pool mark attack no longer goes together with the straight line attack, and overall Cragg is not that aggressive anymore. Cragg's slam that spread out into multiple expanding circle is sometimes threatening since it can go back like a boomerang, and sometimes you won't really expect it and get caught off guard. Although the boomerang always stays in the same direction as the first slam going outwards and inwards, so this can be abused.
My strategy here is like usual, but once Cragg slams and made the expanding circles, mark the safe spot with the first lava pool you make from the mark, so you can remember easily where the safe spot is, which is near the first lava pool you made.
Can't really say if this is easier than Kiryne, since both of them have one specific attacks that might get caught off guard. Overall, not too difficult boss now, and no more luck based attack. W dev.
5:56 Vytelus, the Dragon Lord
Probably the hardest boss.
There is just so much happening that sometimes it gets kind of difficult to remember all the exact green area safe spot is. And this boss is so much more aggressive now with those attacks being much faster. Even the yellow orb is modified to damage for whatever reason.
The only tip I could give is anticipate Vytelus' next attack is going to be. because even the straight line fire attack is pretty quick if you're innerless during your downtime, and you might take the brunt of the attack if you don't move fast enough.
Pretty difficult boss for now, might change opinion if I get more experienced with this boss.
For mobs, just be aware of the mage mobs that uses X attack with how you position yourself. And strangely enough the war and knight mobs that chases you apparently have higher speed now. During the downtime of your inner, for the knight mobs, just simply outrun them and you'll be fine, but for war mobs you need to strafe a little to left/right after the war mobs attacks because you can't really outrun them in a straight line innerless. Inner is your basically "get out of jail free" card against those melee mobs.
And don't be like me what I did at 2:25, too risky in hindsight lol. Alternatively just target the first group first which has the war and mage mobs, which is much safer.
My obs literally bugs for whatever reason, hence the recording has pretty choppy framerates.
Anyways, pretty fun dungeon overall.
except for dying to the random stray turret
