We highly recommend the soba noodle shop in Hatajuku along the way. Further up, there is the Amazake Chaya (Sweet Sake Teahouse), which is also a wonderful spot; their amazake is naturally sweet, made without any added sugar. Beyond just amazake*, they offer items like *chikaramochi rice cakes (in isobe and uguisu styles), miso oden, and tokoroten (agar noodles).
