G’day all, some of you know I took a 3 day road trip up to ACT/NSW and filmed a load of things. Queanbeyan was one of the planned councils to visit found just outside the ACT border to the North it features a nice area with loads of housing and rural places. A small fleet of 5 trucks
Recycling- 1
1X 35m3 Iveco Acco JJRE Recycle body
Green Waste - 1
1X 24m3 refuse body Iveco Acco - JJRE
Garbage -3 (one truck does a load of green and one a load of recycling)
3X 24m3 Refuse body Iveco Acco - JJRE
The fleet features the nice green scheme featured in the video 4 of the old JW O’Sullivans trucks had, very nice to see a JJs Council with this type of signage and body colour since now they go boring white sad ay.
The contract started up in 2015 due to long time waste contract holder JW O’Sullivans Rural Waste for forfeiting the contract which is a small company based in Queanbeyan, the company still exists but is now in the C&I game and covers all around ACT Queanbeyan and small rural towns up all the way up to Goulburn. The company had the contract for 40 years (1975-2015) which is a record amount of time. In the contract JW O’Sullivans states they take bin delivery duties too and supply bins they use Sulos for garbage bins since 2003 and also recycling and greens since 2003 before they used Otto for split bins and nylex for garbage.

Enjoy the video thanks!
PS I never intended for the video to be 23 mins long it just happened. Thanks to the 3 drivers for letting me film (first 2 trucks (garbage) had the same driver in them) and Palerang run their own in-house service both councils merged all that happened was a name change.
