Busan is a popular travel destination among Koreans and come next year the city looks to be sought out by a greater number of foreign travelers as the southern port city has been tagged by a renowned magazine. Chris it's a pleasure. 1) Thomas, let's begin with a FEW words on your personal thoughts regarding Korea's port city of Busan. 2) Chris, Busan was included in the National Geographic's list of top places to visit in 2023. Could you tell us a bit about the criteria for this selection? 3) Thomas, on the subject of "creative energy" in Busan as claimed by National Geographic, what more can you tell us about the film festival that Busan hosts every year? 4) Chris, you've written an extensive piece on Busan as well that I have to admit you had information about the port city that even I wasn't aware about. That being said, do share with us some of the more exotic dishes to try out in Busan including of course, your favorites. 5) And Thomas, what can you tell us about places to visit in Busan? [Do include places of both historical and cultural value :) The UN Veterans Memorial Cemetery, etc which is reportedly the only one of its kind?] 6) So aside from food and places, Chris, what do you suggest as fun activities to partake in Busan? 7) Thomas, is there anything that can be done by Busan authorities to perhaps, further enhance visitors' experiences of the southern port city? 8) Chris, I understand this may be a tough question, but what do you suppose are Busan's chances of hosting the 2030 World Expo? I mean, what assets does it have over its competitors?
