🇷🇺 WE FINALLY MADE IT TO MOSCOW! After 7 days of driving from the UK, crossing multiple countries and facing unexpected challenges at the Russian border, we have finally reached the heart of Russia! But Moscow was NOTHING like we expected! 😲 Welcome back to another exciting episode of our UK to Pakistan by Road adventure with FARWAOJ! In this episode, we explore Russia's incredible capital, MOSCOW, starting with its world-famous underground Metro system. From beautiful stations and modern trains to the challenges of navigating a city without working GPS or internet, our Moscow adventure is full of surprises. We then visit the iconic Red Square, admire the colourful domes of St. Basil's Cathedral, explore the historic Kremlin surroundings and discover the famous GUM shopping centre. What surprised us most was Moscow itself — the grand architecture, wide roads, modern infrastructure and incredibly helpful local people. Is Moscow really what we imagined before arriving in Russia? 🚙 THE JOURNEY CONTINUES — MOSCOW TO KAZAN! After exploring Red Square, we get back into our UK-registered Range Rover for an approximately 660 km drive towards Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan. Along the way, we experience: 🇷🇺 Russia's impressive M12 motorway ⛈️ Torrential rain and almost zero visibility ⛽ The reality of fuel availability in Russia 🚗 Chinese cars dominating Russian roads 🌲 Beautiful countryside, forests and endless farmland 🌙 An incredible motorway journey after sunset With GPS interference, language barriers and unpredictable weather, travelling across Russia has been one of the biggest challenges of our entire UK to Pakistan road trip.
