The light has dawned upon us, Breaking through our night For unto us is born this day In the village of Bethlehem A Savior who is Christ the Lord, The hope of ev’ry woman and ev’ry man. For ev’ryone who struggles, For those who’ve lost their joy, God is reaching out to you Through this tiny baby boy. You’ll find new hope in Jesus That nothing can destroy. Have faith in Christ, and you will know His great, great joy. Angels are asingin’; Tidings they are bringin’; Glory in the highest! Welcome the Messiah! Let ev’rybody shout and sing for joy!
