Simon Fraser University - MSR Worlds 2009

Simon Fraser University Pipe Band playing their March, Strathspey and Reel (MSR) at the World Pipe Band Championships on a blustery Glasgow Green on 15 August 2009. The tunes played are: March: Highland Wedding Strathspey: Blair Drummond Reel: John Morrison of Assynt House This performance was a clear favourite with the judges with a near unanimous first place ranking. Things were a little closer in the medley but the band retained its Grade One World Championship overall. The band is playing under the direction of Pipe Major Terry Lee and Lead Drummer J. Reid Maxwell.
