BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD ABOVE - Rockhestra Version🎻 | 🎸Metal Symphony

🏷️ This is my 🎸🎻 ROCKHESTRA rendition of the timeless Christian hymn “Before the Throne of God Above” — a powerful hymn of Christ’s intercession, assurance of salvation, justification, forgiveness, and our unshakable identity in Christ. 🙏 Special thanks to ‪@juanmajmca‬ for requesting this song. By God’s grace, it is now live on this channel. I pray that this ROCKHESTRA rendition becomes a blessing, encouragement, and reminder of the finished work of Jesus Christ to everyone who hears it. 🌙💭 The History: “Before the Throne of God Above” originated from a hymn text written by Charitie Lees Bancroft (1841–1892), an Irish Christian poet, in the 19th century. The text was originally published in the 1860s and has remained treasured for its rich biblical theology centered on Christ as our Great High Priest and perfect Intercessor. More than a century later, in 1997, Vikki Cook composed the modern melody and adapted additional words for the hymn. Her melody was first recorded on Sovereign Grace Music’s album “Depths of Mercy” and helped bring this historic hymn back into widespread use among modern Christian congregations. Today, “Before the Throne of God Above” is widely recognized as a powerful hymn of assurance, grace, justification, and the finished work of Christ. 📖 Scriptural Foundation: The song draws its biblical foundation from passages such as: ✝️ Hebrews 7:25 — Christ lives forever to intercede for those who come to God through Him. ✝️ Hebrews 4:14–16 — Jesus is our great High Priest, giving believers confidence to approach God’s throne of grace. ✝️ Romans 8:1 — There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. ✝️ Romans 3:21–26 — God demonstrates His righteousness through Christ’s atoning sacrifice. ✝️ Colossians 3:3 — Our life is hidden with Christ in God. ✝️ Isaiah 49:16 — God’s people are remembered and held securely by Him. 💭 The Meaning And Message: The heart of this hymn is assurance. Our hope before God is not based on our feelings, achievements, or ability to live perfectly. Our confidence rests in Jesus Christ, our sinless Savior and Great High Priest. When guilt and accusation tempt us to despair, the hymn calls us to look upward to Christ. His finished work on the cross has dealt with our sin, and His continual intercession reminds us that our salvation rests securely in Him. The message is simple yet profound: Christ is our perfect righteousness, our advocate, our Savior, and our unshakable hope. Because we belong to Him, our lives are hidden with Christ, and our standing before God is secured by His grace. ========================= 🎵 BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD ABOVE 🎵 Before the throne of God above I have a strong and perfect plea A great high priest whose name is Love Who ever lives and pleads for me My name is graven on His hands My name is written on His heart I know that while in Heav'n He stands No tongue can bid me thence depart No tongue can bid me thence depart When Satan tempts me to despair And tells me of the guilt within Upward I look and see Him there Who made an end to all my sin Because a sinless Savior died My sinful soul is counted free For God the just is satisfied To look on Him and pardon me To look on Him and pardon me Behold Him there, the risen Lamb My perfect spotless righteousness The great unchangeable I am The King of glory and of grace One in Himself, I cannot die My soul is purchased by His blood My life is hid with Christ on high With Christ, my Savior and my God ========================= 🎶 Original Song Credits 🎶 ========================= 🍂 Title: Before The Throne Of God Above 🎹 Original Lyrics: Charitie Lees Bancroft 🎼 Modern Music & Additional/Alternate Words: Vikki Cook 🎤 Original Recording: Sovereign Grace Music / Vikki Cook 🗓️ Modern Melody Year: 1997 💿 Album: Depths Of Mercy 🎵 Tune: Before The Throne 📝 CCLI Song No.: 2306412 © 1997 Sovereign Grace Worship/ASCAP ========================= ⚠️ Copyright Disclaimer / Legal Notice: This video is an AI-assisted musical rendition and arrangement created by XunQz Rockhestra Project.
