Province Dissemination Highlights: Karnali Province | CSE Project | Karkhana Samuha

Highlights from Karkhana Samuha's 'Workshop on Right to Education and Accountability' held in Birendranagar, Surkhet (January 2026). Over two days, 91+ local stakeholders, including community leaders, educators, parents, government officials, and CSOs, came together to address gaps in inclusive education. During the event, the team launched two key resources: a GESI-focused Right to Education Monitoring Tool and an Advocacy Reference Guide to help local communities monitor school quality and advocate for accountable education across Karnali Province. This initiative is part of the Civil Society Empowerment (CSE) for Accountable Education Project, led by Karkhana Samuha in partnership with the Dalit Society Service Organization (DSSO) and supported by Education Out Loud (EOL) / Global Partnership for Education (GPE). The project works to strengthen civil society engagement, promote evidence-based advocacy, and use data to build a more transparent, equitable education system in Nepal.
