Exploring "Direct" Employee Ownership - Webinar

While Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) and worker cooperatives are the most widely used models of broad-based employee ownership in the US, there are plenty of interesting examples of companies using other approaches. In recent years, this diversity has been increasingly understood under the term “direct employee ownership”. The Tandem Center for Shared Business Success has been an active promoter of the approach, and the NCEO recently released a book on the topic. In this one hour webinar, Tandem Center Executive Director Drew Mousetis provides an overview of the Direct EO approach, discusses how it compares to other common forms of employee ownership, and walks through examples of its real-world application. The presentation is followed by a short Q&A moderated by Matt Cropp of the Vermont Employee Ownership Center.
