PAINTING A LIVE DEMO OF BIRD & BEAR part 2 with Suzanne Barrett Justis In this video, you can watch me paint on site at the Twigs and Leaves Art Gallery in beautiful Waynesville, NC. I was there from 12-3 painting two pieces, one of a cardinal and one of a bear cub. I did do a quick blocking in of the subjects before in my studio so I can finish up the pieces at the demo. It was so fun talking to all the folks. Some were collectors of mine and some were actually YouTube subscribers. It was so fun putting faces to these wonderful people. This is a very casual and informal painting video, watch and see as I create this black bear cub while I chat it up (something I am quite good at ). You will see as I stack the color on this black bear cub, using combos of ivory black, ultramarine blue and purple lake, while I "work the room".
