Hello Guys, Welcome back to my channel. In this video, I decided to channel the Edo babe in me by showing you all one of our native soups and one of my favorites. Current Subscriber count: 1,212. Filmed with: iPhone 12 Pro Max Edited with: CapCut. Let me walk you through how to make the soup: 1. Get a good banga that can produce good oil, some are actually difficult to get oil from them so get the local one and mix with agric if possible. Wash, boil, and pound, or use a processing machine; either way, get the juice from it. 2. Wash your leaves(bitter leaf, uziza and ascent leaf) very well and separately. To prevent it from being bitter make u sure you wash your bitterleaf till you can no longer taste the bitterness. 3. Blend them with red oil if you are blending it in the market, this helps to bring the leaf out of the machine easily, you are using your blender at home you can skip this part but make sure it is very smooth. 4. Boil any protein of your choice with any spice of your choice and set aside. 5. Now pour the banga extract into a pot and let it boil for a while then pour in the bitter leaf mix and let it boil. Do not stir, just let it marry each other. When the water has gone down a bit add the boiled protein with the stock. Add crayfish, fresh fish, or any other fish of your choice. Cover and let it boil for a few mins. Taste and adjust for salt and season however you want it. If you want it to be a bit thick and not watery, leave it on for longer but if you do not mind the watery type you can take it off when you desire. 6. You can add a bit of red oil if you choose along the line. 7. Serve with whatever swallow of your choice. Be sure to like, share, and drop a comment.
