M.C. Beaton – Agatha Raisin and the Terrible Tourist | Agatha Raisin #6 Audiobook | Murder in Cyprus

Agatha Raisin and the Terrible Tourist by M.C. Beaton — Book 6 of the Agatha Raisin cozy mystery series. Full audiobook. Agatha chases her runaway fiancé to Cyprus, and a British tourist is stabbed to death in a nightclub. Agatha's wedding collapsed at the altar, and James Lacey has fled to northern Cyprus — the island where they were supposed to honeymoon. Agatha, who has never in her life known when to stop, gets on a plane after him. What follows is an undignified game of cat and mouse across Kyrenia, until the two of them end up awkwardly sharing a rented villa on strictly platonic terms. Around them circles an odd little crowd of British holidaymakers: the aristocratic Olivia and George Debenham with their older friend Harry Tembleton, and the loud, moneyed Rose Wilcox with her hard-drinking husband Trevor. The two sets despise each other and yet cannot seem to stay apart. Then, one night at a disco, Rose is stabbed to death — and Agatha, to James's considerable irritation, refuses to let the local police get on with it. Someone would very much like her to stop. Meanwhile, a charming baronet named Sir Charles Fraith is proving an interesting distraction. 🔖 Agatha Raisin series: #5 The Murderous Marriage → #6 The Terrible Tourist → #7 The Wellspring of Death #AgathaRaisin #MCBeaton #CozyMystery #Audiobook #BritishMystery #Cyprus
