7-29-26 (6M) Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1000T Siren 1 Minute Alert Test, Memphis, TN

Yesterday, ‪@madisoncountysirens4295‬ and I went out to go get a couple of siren tests. The first one we went to in the morning was Jasper to catch their Eclipse-8, but, unfortunately, they wound-up having to postpone the test to today (and thus, I wasn't able to catch it thanks to getting back super late last night). Anyways, after catching a local freight on the BNSF Birmingham Subdivision and hanging-out with ‪@EquusStorm‬ at the boarding ranch he works at for a bit, Harris and I continued on up to Memphis to get their weekly siren test in the afternoon. On the way up, Harris managed to convince me to head for this Thunderbolt siren next to Manassas High School in Memphis, especially since it doesn't appear to have been recorded since the original "Memphis Invasion" back in 2019, seven full years ago now! Thankfully, we managed to make it here with about half an hour to spare, and we were able to meet-up with ‪@CoolH99‬ as well, which is always nice. I also found myself a nice shady spot on the other side of the street from the siren, right in front of what appears to be an abandoned house, which certainly helped with the very hot & humid weather on this day. Thankfully, right after 3:30, this siren fired right on up and did its typical full minute of alert for a test! This guy's certainly quite loud and healthy still, which is honestly great to see. Like with many of Memphis's older 'bolts, this one still has a 6M blower on it though I believe the head (or at least the chopper) would've been swapped-out at some point. This one was also originally mounted on the roof of the school, but got remounted on its current wooden pole some years back (possibly in the mid-2010s?), I believe as a result of work done to the school building in question. This was definitely a great unit to have gotten recorded regardless, and I'm honestly quite glad I was able to get it.
