A summer in Sweden, surrounded by forests, lakes and the land our ancestors once called home. For the first time, I travelled to Sweden with my mum — a place that holds a special connection to our family history. We spent our days living slowly in a little cabin in the forest, hiking through the Swedish wilderness, swimming in quiet lakes, gathering wildflowers and simply enjoying being together. Somewhere between the deep green forests, cold lake swims and long summer evenings, this trip became more than just a holiday. It felt like a journey back to our roots and a beautiful reminder of where we come from.
