Before you ask, I did say that this was impossible, but I didn't immediately think about doing this with Post Mortem. After I got the 5:30 AM PB, decided to finish this and yeah. I do believe this is the limit of OC True Nightmare since I don't think NPM is possible with this (adding NPM to 24 AI TN makes it basically impossible unless some masochist decides to go for it and gets incredibly lucky). On the topic of luck, this mode is really bad when it comes to RNG for a couple of reasons. First off, Face when he spawns as the first attic character means instant death (I had this happen 4x in a row in one session), character movement timers being more significant here since a character being slightly off can ruin a run, since I had to pre-lure a lot in this mode to make sure that I can get to attic as early as possible, which can result in luring to early which mean Willie or Dippie don't get lured, or get Corruptus progress. Thirdly, a lot of the difficulty in general is literally just Face. Way more so than TN NPM++ or +++, at least with those modes with them being NPM with higher AIs, they’re difficulties are less dependent on Face and RNG and are mostly skill based, TN++++ is kinda iffy on that, since a lot of the difficulty is literally Face and RNG factors. I still think that 24 AI TN is still harder than TN NPM+++, but I don’t think the difficulty in NPM+++ doesn’t skyrocket as much or become straight up impossible in a ton of scenarios compared to TN++++. This mode took me a grueling 7 hours to complete, a lot of it was literally just Face and a combination of last second PNM / Oswald spawns or me being even slightly too slow (or mistiming my lures or flashing too early which can miss Minnie). Speaking of Minnie, in this mode I had to switch up how I did the early game, for the third cycle, I would lure Willie and Dippie and skip flashing Minnie, get in attic and clear it as fast as possible, then flash Minnie and then lure Willie and Dippie, this didn’t always work but this was more reliable than doing all 3 characters since if I didn’t do this, I would usually die to Face in the third cycle. This does turn the early cycle to a Minnie then Willie / Dippie cycle which isn’t as good against PNM / Oswald for dealing with them but with enough speed (and also having good character movement RNG and not making a single mistake in terms of speed and precision so that you don’t get a last second spawn with either of them). Overall a really bad mode and I do think that this definitely has worse RNG than even Hardest Night 6 (literally in the range of N6 RG Mickyless badness of RNG). You really gotta pray that in any run that the majority of attic attacks are Cabin Face attacks or Pete attacks. However, a Pete then Corrupted Face attack is usually fine since you can pre-flash the attic in this circumstance and not die to Pete which does make a big difference in terms of clearing Face early. This is the limit for Uncapped Casa TN slop, TN NPM++++ is not possible. Post Mortem makes this mode possible and it significantly decreases the difficulty of this mode (especially since using Post Mortem removes Slester progress upon exiting it which is a huge blessing and it also just resets the night, and the cycles that follow after doing Post Mortem are less RNG than the very beginning of the night itself since for a good amount of cycles afterwards are scripted).
Edit: After careful consideration, I declare this the new hardest Oblitus Casa challenge, it beats out both HN6 and HTN in terms of speed, tightness, and RNG though I don’t consider the late part of the night to be as difficult as the two but it’s still really hard so I still think 24 AI TN harder than both modes. Either way you still gotta play super fast even after using Post Mortem. That said, Post Mortem enabling a second chance on top of the of the other benefits does still make a huge difference in this mode. HTN Old Strat I believe to be harder skill wise than this though.
