Onam is Kerala’s beloved harvest festival - a celebration of prosperity, gratitude, togetherness, and the legendary homecoming of King Mahabali. More than a festival, it is a tradition that brings people together through colour, music, food, dance, and the joy of sharing. For those discovering Onam for the first time, it is one of the most important cultural celebrations in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It is a time when communities come together, irrespective of background, to celebrate happiness, abundance, friendship, and a shared sense of belonging. At Cliniqon, Onam was all of that, and much more. Our celebration began with the warmth of tradition, with the office dressed in festive colours, floral décor, the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, and our teams arriving in beautiful traditional attire. What followed was a day filled with energy, laughter and moments that brought everyone closer. From the powerful rhythms of Chenda Melam that set the festive mood, to spirited dancing and traditional group performances, music and singing, every corner came alive with the sounds and colours of Onam. Colleagues stepped away from their everyday routines to cheer, perform, laugh and celebrate together. And no Onam celebration would be complete without the Onam Sadhya - the traditional Kerala feast served on banana leaves. Sharing a meal together became one of the simplest yet most meaningful moments of the day, bringing everyone around the same table in the true spirit of Onam. The celebrations continued with fun team games, friendly competition, plenty of cheering, spontaneous dancing and memorable moments shared across the Cliniqon family. From the first beat of the drums to the final gathering of the entire team, the day was a reminder that some of the strongest connections are built not only while working together, but while celebrating together.
