Aran Fawddwy Hike | Snowdonia National Park

Located in Southern Snowdonia and is the 16th-highest summit in Wales (905.6m). This has been one of my favourite mountain walks in the park. I start my ascent from Cwm Cywarch where remains of an old mining village surround the valleys and before this was apparently home to a band of outlaws known as Cochion Cywarch (The Reds of Cywarch) which is said to be named for the colour of their leaders hair. As I visit numerous summits en route to Aran Fawddwy, I am surrounded by incredible views and history which makes me feel quite sentimental on top. Walk: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/wales...
