Philippines Diaries Ep. 4 🇵🇭 | Last Day in Capiz + Garin Farm “Stairway to Heaven” & Iloilo City

Welcome to Philippines Diaries Episode 4 🇵🇭! Our final days in the Philippines filled with unforgettable adventures, beautiful places, and the most emotional goodbye. 💔 In this episode, we explore San Joaquin, Iloilo and visit the breathtaking Garin Farm, home of the famous Stairway to Heaven (a 480-step pilgrimage leading to a stunning all-white “heaven” experience). This experience involves walking through biblical scenes from creation to ascension before entering a dark meditation tunnel that opens into a bright, angelic landscape… truly one of the most unique places we’ve ever visited. ✨We also continued exploring Iloilo City, including: Shopping & food trip at SM Mall A peaceful walk along Iloilo River Esplanade Visiting the historic Miagao Church (and even riding a horse!) After returning from Boracay, we made the most of our remaining time indulging in delicious Filipino street food, trying a local salon experience (haircut, foot spa, mani & pedi), and doing some last-minute shopping at SM & Robinsons in Roxas City before heading back to Canada. But the most heartfelt moment of this vlog… was saying goodbye. 😢 Watching my husband say goodbye to his grandma was something we’ll never forget - a reminder that no matter how many times you visit home, it never gets easier to leave.
