The Warning fans told me I needed to see these ladies LIVE, so I randomly picked “Consume” – Live From Auditorio Nacional, CDMX… and for the first minute I was completely confused. 😂 My first thought was: “Wait… is the drummer a man? And is there a new singer?!” After watching a little longer, I think I figured out that the singer was actually the drummer stepping out front, and the guy behind the kit may have been a drum tech or a drummer from another band on the bill? Somebody who knows the story PLEASE explain it in the comments because I had to completely recalibrate what I thought I was watching. 😂 Once my brain caught up… they sounded AMAZING. The entire stage setup was crazy, especially that giant chandelier hanging over everything. Visually it felt huge, and the performance matched it. I really liked the groove in the verse, the vocal harmonies, and those super catchy melodies. Then that chorus comes in and sounds absolutely ENORMOUS live. Everything was incredibly tight and polished without losing the energy of a live rock show. The Warning have a seriously great live sound.
