ISO/TC 347 Webinar 15--My robot says it saw a bug! Automated observations in integrated pest mgmt.

A key first step in integrated pest management is identifying pests and assessing infestation severity to drive informed decisions. It is very hard to scale this up while retaining accuracy in places without enough trained agronomists and entomologists. Our presenters, Haowen Zhang, PhD, of IPP-CAAS (Beijing, China) and Harrison Fuller, MS, of Syngenta (Tacoma, WA, USA) introduce available technological solutions to this problem. They share their vision for future standardization opportunities in the space and explain how to join the effort within TC 347. A Q&A session follows.
