Don and I discovered that we had a shared love of the music of French/Martinois pianist-composer Grégory Privat. "Song for Jojo" became something of a theme song of our friendship. So we decided to record a version of this wonderful piece in my living room while Don was on tour in Germany. Grégory originally arranged the piece for solo piano and voice. Here is our collaborative arrangement of the piece for two guitars and voice. This is a true highlight of our work together on my SEAGULL album.
