Inside Palermo’s New Stadium That Could Host Euro 2032

Palermo FC is planning a €300 million transformation of the historic Stadio Renzo Barbera, turning one of Sicily's most iconic football stadiums into a modern, fully covered and solar-powered arena. The ambitious Palermo stadium redevelopment, designed by Populous, could transform the Barbera into one of Italy's most modern football venues, with a capacity of around 38,200 and facilities designed to meet UEFA's highest standards. But this project is about much more than a new stadium. Palermo is hoping the redevelopment can help the city secure a place among Italy's host venues for UEFA Euro 2032, which Italy will co-host with Turkey. 0:00 INTRO ‎0:54 WHAT CHANGED EVERYTHING ‎4:53 THE NEW BARBERA ‎8:21 WILL UEFA CHOOSE PALERMO #palermo #italy #football #uefa
