Electric RC gliders have a special place in my heart. If they are well balanced and gently flown, they provide the RC pilot a long and relaxed flying experience. With the bigger and lighter ones, you can catch thermals and soar like birds without applying power for hours (as long as your flight battery provides power to your receiver and servos). I was on HobbyKing website for ordering new batteries and glue (my old stock were over 8 years old, because I was away from this wonderful hobby since 2012 due to work and family reasons). I was trying to get the total to $100 in order to get free shipping for my order from their U.S. Warehouse. Then I saw this EZIO 800 on sale for $56.99, and I knew I had to get it. Some of the reviews were not that great, but I thought I would overcome the challenges and also gain some new problem-solving skills along the way. Well, this "problem-solving" part ended up being the main theme of this review, a bit more than I wished for! Here are the links to the first seven videos:    • HobbyKing EZIO 800 Glider PNP - Part 1: Un...      • HobbyKing EZIO 800 Glider PNP - Part 2: Bo...      • HobbyKing EZIO 800 Glider PNP - Part 3: Ne...      • HobbyKing EZIO 800 Glider PNP - Part 4: Ma...      • HobbyKing EZIO 800 Glider PNP - Part 5: Fl...      • HobbyKing EZIO 800 Glider PNP - Part 6: Ba...      • HobbyKing EZIO 800 Glider PNP - Part 7: Gr...   In the last video, I flew my EZIO 800 with a 500mAh 2S battery that fit the tiny battery compartment. The added weight and battery capacity finally made this small, powered glider a stable and fun RC model to fly. Unfortunately, during one of the subsequent landings, the already-repaired folding propeller broke beyond repair. To make matters worse, spare props for this glider is not available anywhere, including HobbyKing! Talk about parts support! I could even find a similarly sized folding prop. So, in this video, I am showing how to implement a temporary fix by modifying a regular propeller and installing on the EZIO 800. I am also reprogramming the throttle response on my RadioMaster TX16S transmitter to make sure that the larger prop will not demand too much power through the ESC and the motor. Finally, I am doing a short test flight in the local park. Thank you very much for watching. If you find this review useful, please consider liking it and subscribing to our channel.
