Sharing on the Kalama Sutta by Dr Ng Wai Chong at Buddha Dhamma Mandala Society on 14th May 2023

Kalama Sutta is well known among Buddhist communities. It is particularly interesting as it illustrated the spirit of free enquiry needed in the pursuit of the Truth. How the Truth is discovered is not yet fully explained in the Sutta but can be discerned when one studies the Dhamma in its entirety. This discussion of the Kalama Sutta will make reference to other Teachings in the Tipitaka and to modern scientific principles in order to elucidate the Buddha’s Teachings.”
