This video shows how to configure Web App Protection on the RG‑CF firewall to defend an internal web server against external attacks.
Web App Protection combines a signature library (website scanning, WebShell, CSRF, remote file operations, information disclosure) with a semantic detection engine (SQL, command, and code injection).
Key steps covered:
Check the Web App Protection license and signature library version.
Import the server certificate and configure SSL Proxy for HTTPS traffic.
Create an internal server address object.
Build a WAF custom template with all attack types, semantic engine defenses enabled, and action Block.
Bind the template to a security policy (untrust → trust, destination web server subnet).
Verify detected attacks in Monitor - Logs - Security Log (log type: Web App Protection).
Watch to protect internal web services with layered WAF detection.
