Reading 2100 is a 4-8-4 Northern Type built in house by the Reading Company in 1945. It hauled fast freight service just shy of a decade before it was retired. Afterwards, it found itself pulling various passenger excursions for many decades. Currently the engine is undergoing a full-rebuild to return to service.
