Set It Down and Build Upward · downtempo dub for making things

A second take on the same idea, a slow head nod at 86 beats a minute with a sub bass that thumps like a heartbeat. The rhythm comes from timber being carried and laid down, a woodblock ticking between, and a dry scrape riding on top. A blurred organ chord drifts in every few bars, a low string drone hums underneath and you can hear the effort in someone breathing close by. The boards sound longer and deeper toward the end.
