Queen Creek is changing fast...but are all of these new projects actually making it better? In this episode of What’s Changing: East Valley, I’m digging into what’s happening across Queen Creek right now: Downtown Queen Creek, The Perch, The Union, the new Queen Creek Arizona Temple, the Ironwood corridor and LG, major road projects, Horseshoe Park, Schnepf Farms and a few areas I think are worth watching closely. But this isn’t just a list of what’s opening. What interests me is how these changes could affect the way different parts of Queen Creek actually feel to live in. Why might someone choose Barney Farms or Jorde Farms because of access to SR-24? Does far east Queen Creek start feeling less “far out” as Ironwood fills in? Can Downtown Queen Creek become an actual gathering place instead of a collection of restaurants? What happens with parking? And can areas around Horseshoe Park and Schnepf Farms grow without losing what makes them feel like Queen Creek? Some of these projects are moving now. Others are still proposed or things I’m watching closely...and I’ll make that distinction throughout the video. If you live in Queen Creek, I want to know what you’re watching. And if you’re trying to figure out which part of Queen Creek fits the way you actually want to live, feel free to pick my brain. In this episode: • Signal Butte & Germann / Barney Farms / Jorde Farms • Queen Creek Arizona Temple + Ironwood corridor • LG Energy Solution • The Union • Sossaman & Germann • Downtown Queen Creek / Switchyard / Magma Plaza • The Perch • Horseshoe Park • Schnepf Farms + south Queen Creek What’s Changing: East Valley Local development, roads, restaurants, neighborhoods and the projects changing Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, San Tan Valley and the East Valley.
