9 Hard Lessons Grunts Learned on a Vietnam Firebase That No Manual Ever Covered. If you were one of the grunts who served on a Vietnam firebase, you already know these rules were never learned in a classroom. They were learned from a hiss in the dark, a hand on the back of a belt, or a boot heel on an empty can. So tell us: what was the rule on your hill that nobody ever wrote down? Name the firebase and the year in the comments. The best answers may shape a future story. Did you sleep on top of the bunker or inside it? Do you still wake up at a sound nobody else hears? And if your father, grandfather, or uncle was a grunt in Vietnam, share this video with him and ask what he remembers. Some of these stories have never been told. #Vietnam #VietnamWar #VietnamVeterans #Grunts #Firebase #MilitaryHistory #VietnamWarStories ------------------ 🎖️ Our goal is to preserve the stories, courage, sacrifice, and history of those who lived through the Vietnam era. 👍 Enjoyed this video?
