Three madrasas. Different centuries. One extraordinary square. Why does Samarkand's Registan feel like one picture when its buildings came from different centuries? Look from a single tile to the whole square: Ulugh Beg, Sher-Dor and Tilla-Kari reveal different periods, different craft and a shared sense of place. This Art Talks film also looks at the restoration that helped shape today's view. These surfaces carry the work of restorers alongside the history of the original buildings. Max is Art Talks' fictional AI host. His presenter scenes and voice, plus a brief reference-based Ulugh Beg facade shot, are AI-generated. The film combines these with credited documentary photographs and explanatory graphics. It does not record an actual Max visit or newly filmed documentary footage.
