Northern Wave – The City Never Sleeps | Official Music Video

Northern Wave never stayed in one place for long. The City Never Sleeps is a cinematic journey through Manchester, 1982 — a city of rain-soaked streets, late-night buses, railway lines, glowing windows and people moving through the darkness. At the center is a man walking alone. Somewhere in the same sleepless city, a woman is doing the same. Their paths cross again and again — through a taxi window, across crowded streets and in passing glances — without either of them knowing the other. Until they finally recognize each other. They smile. They pass by. And the city keeps moving. A visual story about loneliness, connection, and the quiet realization that even in a city full of thousands of people, you are never truly the only one. 🎵 Northern Wave – The City Never Sleeps 📍 Manchester, 1982 💿 Highway Records Turn it up and walk into the night. #NorthernWave #TheCityNeverSleeps #NewWave #PostPunk #Manchester1982 #80sMusic #BritishNewWave #HighwayRecords
