Winter returns. But this cold does not cool men's blood. No, something in this bitter wind seems to rouse men's hearts to evil. The spirit of the rivers keeps a close watch as Gandalf's company descends from the mountains. But on the riverless moors Goldberry cannot protect the Grey Pilgrim from roving bands of outlaws.
To the North, Elrond and Alatar lead the half-frozen captives out of Angmar and down secret Elf paths that lead them to the Grey Havens, at the western end of Middle Earth. Inspired by their courage, the shipwright Elves of Lindon consider adding their arms to the force that Alatar is mustering across the ruins of Eriador.

Thank you for watching this fifth game in this double elimination tournament of Playing MECCG: The Wizards with Myself. Here we see a match up between the only two wizards with no losses to their names: Gandalf and Alatar.
Gandalf continues to play a magic ring deck with an undead/corruption hazard strategy. The deck has been slightly tweaked since last game, but it has been so successful so far that I didn't change too much.
Alatar also returns with his Elrond/Rescue Prisoners deck with a Men hazard strategy. I've added a few more Giant cards to give us more ways to target wilderness regions, but the deck is very similar to earlier versions. Let's see what happens when these two northeast-focused decks go head to head!
