Field Strip: HK MR27 - MR556, MR223, HK416 & Brownells BRN-4 disassembly

In this Field Strip video, I demonstrate how to disassemble and reassemble the HK MR27 for routine cleaning and maintenance. This general procedure also applies to several closely related HK-pattern rifles, including the HK MR556, MR223, HK416 and Brownells BRN-4. Although these rifles share many similarities with the traditional AR-15 platform, there are some important differences in their design and disassembly process. I walk through those differences and highlight the unique features of the HK operating system and internal components along the way.
