Lindisfarne (Holy Island) : Drone Tour

Lindisfarne, or Holy Island, is located a few miles south of Berwick-upon-Tweed. It is a tidal island, accessible twice a day when the tide is out. You can find the safe crossing times at https://holyislandcrossingtimes.north.... Don't get caught out! To avoid disturbance to any wildlife, I limited my drone flights to the areas around the village and castle. The island is a great place to visit to see marine birds and seals, colonies of which can be seen on the sandbanks at low tide.
