Responsorial Psalm 116: Our Blessing-Cup (Holy Thursday)

The Responsorial Psalm for Holy Thursday, Psalm 116 (verses 12-13, 15-16, 17-18), sung at St Patrick's Catholic Church, Bashorun, Ibadan. Refrain: "Our blessing-cup is a communion with the Blood of Christ." Psalm 116 belongs to the Hallel, the psalms sung at the Passover meal, so it's likely Jesus sang words like these at the Last Supper. Look up at the painting above the ambo while you listen. If your parish mumbles the response, send them this. ▶ Find Mass, confession and adoration times near you, anywhere in Nigeria: https://gettomass.com ▶ Add your parish's Mass times, or join the community: https://gettomass.com/links 🔔 Subscribe for more Catholic life in Nigeria, every week.
