Aspen Turns 50: the 1990s

Aspen Turns 50 continues with the 1990s. In this episode, we look back at a decade when Aspen was growing into something bigger. The work became more consistent, bigger contracts were coming in, the crews were getting younger, and many of the people who would help shape Aspen’s future were finding their footing. We sat down with a few of the guys who were part of Aspen’s 1990s chapter to talk about what the work looked like, how the company was changing, and the stories that still stand out from that time. Thank you to everyone who gave their time to be part of this project: Mark Chisholm Wayne Olejarz Mike Villipart Brian Noyes This series will take you decade by decade all the way to the present day, through the people who built Aspen and the people carrying it forward. Subscribe and follow along for the next chapters. Next up: the 2000s. If you have an Aspen Tree Expert Co. story from back in the day, we’d love to hear it in the comments.
