In one cave in Mexico, scientists cannot enter without gas masks - the air itself can knock a person unconscious, and living colonies of bacteria hang from the ceiling dripping acid strong enough to burn skin. In Utah, a young man is still inside a cave that was sealed with him in it, because reaching his body would have killed the rescuers too. And in Vietnam, there is a cave so vast it has its own jungle, its own clouds, and its own weather.
