Juliana Carver - Surgery to Correct Crossed Eyes (December 2003)

We adopted Juliana, from Minsk Belarus, in August 2003. The first time we saw a photograph of her we noticed her eyes were crossed just like Timothy's eyes before he had surgery to straighten them. This is part of a ninety minute video I took in November and early December 2003. Just after Juliana's second birthday Juliana had surgery to straighten her eyes. It was several months before we went back to Belarus to adopt Kristina. In early 2007 Juliana was stricken with cancer. The cancer came back seven more times.
