FAR FROM HOME | Student Life in Delhi | A Documentary by Aayush Sharma Leaving home to pursue education is more than just moving to a new city. It means adapting to a new lifestyle, meeting new people, managing everyday responsibilities, and learning to live independently. Far From Home explores the experiences of students who have left their hometowns to study and build their futures in Delhi. Through conversations with five students, this documentary looks at their daily lives, challenges, friendships, experiences of living away from family, and hopes for the future. As the students share their thoughts about whether they would prefer to work in Delhi or return to their hometowns, we discover that everyone has a different idea of what a successful future looks like. For some, Delhi may become a place to build a life. For others, it may be a step towards returning home with new skills, knowledge, and experiences. This documentary is about student life, independence, belonging, and the different journeys people take while trying to find their place in the world.
