Svea Flood left Sweden with one dream: to bring the gospel to Africa.
But when she arrived in the Belgian Congo, the village rejected her. Disease weakened her body. Her fellow missionaries left. And after giving birth in a small mud hut, Svea died before the age of 27—believing that her entire mission had produced only one convert: a young African boy who brought eggs to her home.
She never lived to see what happened next.
That boy grew up, became a preacher, and carried the gospel back to his own people. Churches were planted. Schools were built. Thousands came to Christ. The single soul Svea thought was too small to justify her sacrifice became the seed of a spiritual movement she could never have imagined.
Even more remarkably, the news of that harvest eventually reached Svea’s bitter husband, David Flood, who had abandoned his faith after her death. Through their daughter, Aggie, he finally learned that Svea had not died in vain—and his hardened heart returned to God.
This is the unforgettable true story of a dying missionary, one African boy, and a seed of faith that helped ignite a spiritual harvest.
Watch until the end to discover why no act of obedience, no hidden sacrifice, and no seed planted for Christ is ever wasted.
