Inside the Great Lakes Medieval Faire | A Day at the Faire

Step through the gates with me and experience the Great Lakes Medieval Faire. This story was seven weeks in the making, filmed across multiple visits to the Faire and built almost entirely from footage I recorded along the way. We'll wander the paths and shops, visit the food courts and Fairy Forest, meet some of the characters and performers who bring the Faire to life, and eventually make our way to the Field of Honor for the joust. Along the way, you'll also get to experience some of the actual sights and sounds of the Faire rather than simply hearing me describe them. For me, the Great Lakes Medieval Faire has been part of my life for many years. This isn't intended to be a complete guide to everything you'll find there. It's a story about the Faire as I've experienced it—and why coming through those gates can feel a little like coming home.
