Ubisoft switched off The Crew on 31 March 2024, and what each buyer got back depended on which shop had sold it to them. Refunds were handed to the storefront's own policy. Steam owners still have the files and Ubisoft Connect owners had the entry taken out of their library. The class action that was going to settle whether buying a game means owning one was withdrawn before a judge ruled on it, refiled in Sacramento, and settled. American buyers who filed a claim were offered seven dollars in cash, or fifteen in credit that only spends at Ubisoft.
