Panthers Keep Being Reported Across Australia — And No One Can Explain Why

Panthers keep being reported across Australia — and no one can explain why. A continent with no native big cats has produced more than a century of sightings, and even claims of wild animal attacks. Two state governments investigated. One said big cats were "more likely than not." The other said almost certainly not. We follow the evidence: circus escapes, the WWII mascot legend, the Lithgow film, a leopard DNA result that was thrown out, and two sets of prints found near Sydney in 2025. Are these apex predators real, or giant feral cats from one of the worst invasive species in Australia? A wildlife documentary about wild Australia, dangerous wildlife and animals caught on camera. Subscribe for animal facts, Australian animals, scary animals, deadly animals, wild animals, predators, animals you didn't know existed and the most dangerous animals in Australia.
