Evolution of… 16 – Papillon Video from: Live in Toronto 2007, 2016 & 2017 Solo Trapeze (Apr.19.2007 - Dec.27.2015) - Darya Vintilova Darya Vintilova, solo trapezist from the Ukrane. Strongly invoking a bad-girl image, Darya is all rock and roll in this act. She struts about the stage, teasing the audience (and the Trickster) with her raw femininity, before grabbing up her trapeze bar and taking to the skies. Instead of facing forward, her trapeze flies side-to-side (from stage-left to stage-right) which affords a very unique view of a very traditional circus solo trapeze set. The trapeze is installed stage left to stage right – a Cirque-created innovation. But the act goes beyond the stage setting and the artist's display of physical mastery. There is drama in the personalities as she interacts with The Trickster, and that adds even more dynamic undertones to the visual thrills and delights. Aerial Hoop (Mar.09.2016 - Nov.2017) - Marie-Eve Bisson With the ability to fly, swoop, spin, and swing in every direction, the long flowing dynamics of the aerial hoop’s motion is juxtaposed against the gripping, high octane acrobatics performed by the artist. The breathtaking versatility of the Aerial Hoop allows the performer to take command of the stage and soar to incredible acrobatic feats while continuously building the excitement to a completely astounding climax Aerial Straps (Nov.24.2017- Present) - Haley Viloria (Sorry for the spelling error) With the ability to fly, spin, and swing in every direction, the long flowing dynamics of the aerialist’s motion is juxtaposed against the gripping, high acrobatics performed by the Straps artist. The breathtaking versatility of the Straps allows her to take command of the stage and soar to incredible acrobatic feats while continuously building the excitement to an astounding climax.
