God’s Covenant Promise Includes Our Children | Mustard Seed Reformed Church | Ptr. Jek Pacheco

In this sermon from Matthew 19:13–15, we see people bringing little children to Jesus so that He might lay His hands on them and pray. Although the disciples tried to prevent them, our Lord welcomed the children and declared, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” This passage reminds us of Christ’s gracious welcome toward children and calls us to recognize the importance of bringing our children to Christ and raising them under the faithful care and teaching of His Word. As a Reformed church, we rejoice in God’s covenant faithfulness and in the blessing of His promises to believers and their children. May this sermon encourage parents, families, and the whole church to faithfully nurture the next generation in the knowledge and fear of the Lord. May this message encourage us to trust God’s covenant promises, faithfully teach His Word to our children, and continually bring them to Christ.
