1958 Norton Dominator First Start After Repair… Then THIS Happened! | Classic Bike Revival

In this episode of The Mighty Garage, I head over to my friend George’s workshop to check out the latest progress on Sam’s 1958 Norton Dominator Model 88 500cc. While I’ve been working on a 1975 Norton Commando Mk3, George has been hard at work bringing this other classic British motorcycle back to life. The Dominator had suffered from bent pushrods along with a number of other issues, but after a thorough repair, it was finally ready for its first start and test ride. George fires it up and it sounds fantastic. Naturally, we couldn’t resist taking it out for a ride around the neighborhood to see how it performs on the road. But, just as I’m about to take it for a proper spin… we discover a new problem. That’s classic motorcycle ownership for you!
