I Finally Got a Bass Again! Revealing My New Ibanez GSR205 GIO 5-String

After years of focusing on guitar, I finally picked up a bass again — and it’s a 5-string Ibanez GSR205BWNF GIO in Walnut Flat! In this video I’m unboxing and taking a first look at the new bass, talking about why I went with a 5-string, and sharing my early thoughts on the feel and tone. As a guitarist jumping back into bass, I’m curious how this thing plays and whether the low B and Phat II EQ live up to the hype. *Quick specs:* Ibanez GIO GSR205BWNF 5-string, Walnut Flat finish Maple neck (GSR5), Jatoba fretboard, 22 medium frets 34" scale Dual Dynamix H passive pickups + Phat II active bass boost B15 bridge, black hardware If you’re a guitarist thinking about getting a bass (or just curious about this budget 5-string), let me know in the comments what you want me to try next — slap, finger-style, specific songs, or a full review later on.
