Lecture 21: Single-Effect Evaporator

In this lecture, I will introduce basic concepts of a single-effect evaporators and derive the material and energy balance on the single-effect evaporator followed by a discussion of solution scheme. I will discuss the measures of evaporator performance, boiling point elevation, and enthalpy-concentration chart.
